A real person, a practised ear, and thirty years of turning talk into text.
Hello, and welcome. I'm the person behind Transcriptyin, and after three decades as a professional transcriber, I still get quiet satisfaction from the very same thing I did on day one: taking a recording, however messy or muffled, and turning it into a clean, accurate, properly formatted document you can actually use.
Experience you can lean on
Over thirty years I've transcribed just about everything, from medical dictations and case notes to legal statements and interviews, insurance claims, academic research, business meetings, podcasts, and the personal recordings families want to keep forever. That range means very little throws me. I know the terminology, I know the formatting conventions, and I know how to make a transcript read the way it should.
How I work
Every file that comes to me is transcribed and checked by hand, by me, not by software that guesses. I care about the small things: the right spelling of a name, the meaning behind a half-finished sentence, the difference a well-placed comma makes. Your recordings are treated as confidential from the moment they arrive, and handled with the discretion that sensitive material deserves.
I've always had a love of language. I speak a few myself, and I come from an extremely multicultural family, which has given me an ear that's well-tuned to accents and speakers that other services can find tricky.
Let's work together
